The entire office was in hyper drive mode as we are getting down the the wire, the conference room white board looks like we are building a Boeing 747, item after item is being checked off the list as we get ready for the official blog launch day Friday morning. Keep reading to see some of the cool new features we’ve come up with for Santa’s blog and some of the headaches we’re having to deal with.

Graeme came up with some cool Google Earth and Google Map location that has the complete 12 days from location to location — you can find in the “Where is Santa Now” link on the left navigation (sorry Matt Lauer it isn’t “where in the world”, just the U.S. ..)

All the airline tickets are purchased and we had to pick up dozens of little things for the trip and some gags we want to blog about …

We decided to only book hotels at the last minute so we wouldn’t have to through them away if Santa gets “stuck” somewhere and we have to skip over part of the route — I am positive the airlines and FAA will not let Santa get stuck … (I also have some swampland in Florida for sale).

We are going to ship some care packages to hotels in the route so clothes can be sent back and spring fresh ones delivered — who this is fun and tiring — we are also launching our new MyTrips functionality Friday and the newsletter went out last night …
