The second leg of our trip took us back to Texas. We’re in Houston for an hour or two, and we will be back to Houston tonight. That famous Houston humidity is some how leaking into the airport, but other than that, everything is going well.
Had a great time on the flight in from Little Rock. The Southwest Airlines crew couldn’t have been better. I got to hand out peanuts, they gave me souvenirs, and gave us a pep talk about taking multiple flights in a single day (they often do 7, so they feel our pain). They did, however, demand that Grumpy Santa fatten up, so airline pillows were put to use. (note: you do not want to use those pillows.)
We should have some video of the crew and my fine peanut-handing-out technique sometime in the not-too-distant future. Our director Jesse is studiously editing on a wobbly table in the food court at Houston Hobby Airport.
So far, so good. 2 flights down; 64 to go.
Stay Grumpy!

Make sure to keep stocking up on the souvenirs…I want lots of loot when you finally come home, Santa.

Dude, where’s the video?!?!?! I wanna see Stumpy Santa stuff airline pillows (do they actually ever wash those?) into his shirt. Nuthin like that “spare tire” for the holidays look!

It’s good to know that Santa will always have a “fall-back” job passing out peanuts. If they make him any fatter, though, he won’t be able to fit down the aisle and he may have to pay for two seats.
