One of my biggest regrets, is that I really didn’t get to see much of anything on my whirlwind trip. Sure, I hung out in New York City and Las Vegas, but I’ve been to both of those places several times. The only “new” place I really got see was Billings, Montana and that was mainly from the inside of a health clinic. So, I tried to keep track of places I would like to visit when I can actually spend some time there and when I’m not so broken and bitter. Click “more” for my list of places to return to. |
Portland, Maine: It looked beautiful flying in. Different than any other landscape I had seen. Steeped in history. I want to go back and spend some time traveling around the state, but not in December. I am weak, and Maine is cold.
Burlington, Vermont: (see Portland, Maine).
Sheridan, Wyoming: I spent about 20 minutes in Sheridan; 10 of which were on the one landing strip at the airport, but something intrigues me about this town. I must return.
Montana: I would like to ride horses there. Looks to be plenty of room for that.
Las Vegas: OK, so like I said, I’ve been there a few times, but I didn’t even have a chance to roll those sweet dice or play a hand of “Let it Ride.” That’s no way to do Vegas. Sin City, I’m on my way back to you as soon as I can physically make myself fly again.
